My SR11

HI to all

I just bought my sr11 and I was very happy with it till I decided to upload the videos to my IBM R40 laptop, I fond that the AVCHD format is bit difficult to play,

I got sony vegas software but I think it is very heavy on my computer, the specs of my R40 are windows xp processor 1400mhz 1.40ghz, 2.00 GB of ram my qestion is

Is that specs enough to work with such software??

And my other question is what would be the best way to play the videos on the TV?? Shall I buy a PS3 or a multimedia external hard drive that can play AVCHD format

Regards and thanxxx in advance

Re: My SR11

The spec of your laptop is on the low side for dealing with AVCHD files, more RAM should help a bit but you'll still be limited by the processor speed and overall performance.

Just get a cable and hook the SR11 upto your TV
The PS3 will do a good job of video playback as well as handle bluray movie and games.

Re: My SR11

Are you going to use the Terrabyte of storage ?
Personally I'd get an 80GB PS3 and upgrade the hard drive in it to a 320GB one straight away (it really is very easy to do), that should give ample storage space to get started with.
