options for SD 'corder WITH av IN

hi folks, im a newbie here....

I do lots of extreme sports, and have just bought myself a nice bullet cam kit, consisiting of a Sony HQ1 Super HAD CCD 580/550TVL - with the 4.8mm lens, and a wide angle lens too.

Its a full kit, comes with all the leads battery packs, mounts, and a ABS plastic storage box.....

NOW all i need is a camcorder that records high quality video, using an AV in ( and a MIC in )

Ive been down to jessops, and currys for a quick heads up...lots of nice kit, but NOTHING that clearly states it records from AV in.

Whats my options....i did consider a simple multi-media recorder ( like the ones from aldi etc ) - but i'd quite like a stand alone camcorder too....

Needs to be SD - as it'll be subjected to some abuse ( hard knocks, very cold temps, low air pressure.......)

Needs to be fairly small and compact.....i like the panasonic SDR-S7E - but no AV IN.

any advice welcomed !!!
