Can I use the Canon BP808 with Canon HF100

Wanna get the Canon HF100, and was wondering if i can get the BP808 battery and use that for the HF100?. Supposedly BP808 is for the Canon FS series, but I have found a nice little deal, so want to buy the BP808 over the BP809.

Will this work? What are the disadvantages? Cheers guys
