Help with TEMPGEnc

Trying to use this to process a WMM home movie downloaded off my camcorder.
When i try to add the avi i get an error message saying
"cannot open the file c/ etc etc"
I previously tried to create it with windows DVD maker but the resulyt seemed really bad
can anyone help

Use Windows Media Encoder 9 Series which you can get from Microsoft Corporation and for free providing you can validate your PC. TMPGEnc is good but there is better. Use the above and see how you can get along. Nothing better to use then windows software with windows video files.
