What is best value for money out of Panasonic HDC-SD9D or JVC HD6EK?

Hi I am looking at both of these camcorders.

The Panasonic is 3CC and has a 8GB HDD max 6hr recording and SD compat.

The JVC has a 120GB HDD and similar features but it around £1000

Whats in it?

I want something 3CC, HD, excellent pic quality, sound and value.
