current 2008 camcorder models with av input to hook up a digital spotting scope

I am looking for a camcorder with av input in order to hook up a bushnell digital spotting scope. Preferably with hard disk drive but mini dv would do in a pinch.
Does anyone know offhand such models that do av in as well as out

I have a feeling that under £1000 you're limited to miniDV taped-based camcorders, if you're looking for AV-in: Canon's HV30, for example. Perhaps someone knows of something less expensive. Pretty sure there aren't any consumer-grade harddrive-based camcorders with AV-in, unfortunately.

Even at the Semi Pro level, that would be rare , if it exists
With one or 2 exceptions the Pro grade camcorders that do not use tape, tend to use Proprietary memory formats rather than HDD and although they might have Av-in, the memory is unlikely to have a huge capacity beyond tape even if transfer of footage is obviously more convenient
