Canon MD205 Blue tinge

Hello there i have just bought this camcorder and have been filming in peasholm park in Scarborough the colours are great greens,browns,but on the squirrels there are blue tinges round them defintly not there when i filmed them anyone help Thanks. Please remember attachments taken off video.

Can you set the white balance on the MD205 manually? If so I'd try that. Auto white balance is all well and good but sometimes you need to say to your camcorder, "See this? This is white, you stupid camcorder!"

Any time. The blue tinge is also possibly the result of the ambient colour temperature. Shooting in the shade or in winter tends to result in a slight blue shift. If it's a problem and MWB doesn't fix it, you could also try using a Skylight filter when shooting, or adjusting colour balance with your editing software.
