Sony Vegas: Help Please

I am using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 and trying to produce video output that will play through a Toshiba HD DVD XE1.

All attempts so far produce a message that the DVD is not a recognised format.

Can someone please advise the best format to render in (quality a preference over size) and what is the appropriate process to burn the rendered file onto a DVD?

Only 10 days left on the free trial so appreicate any help.

The best thing would be to get Ulead Movie Factory and create a Mini HD- DVD
