DivX or Xvid output from VideoStudio 11.5

Im trying to find out how to output my video project to DivX. Im not the brightest spark when it comes to this stuff as Im just learning. The User Guide isnt much help, just says that I need a plugin. It doesnt give any specific help.
Has anyone managed to do this, and if so could you please share ?
Thanks

Re: DivX or Xvid output from VideoStudio 11.5

It may be worth installing DIVX on your PC or its pro version ( if you can get it)
Corel are being a bit naughty by trying to make you pay for a plug in to encode to MP4., perhaps justifying this by saying it is a 3rd party patented one which they have licensed . Some programs require you to "activate" online to benefit from this rather than pay for a plug in
It may be that you can download the plug-in from thier website for free but you would have to register it with them ..Have you tried doing that?

You might just have to if you cannot install any program that will leave the divx codec ( for encoding ) on your system
If you can get a standalone encoder for free or almost free , you will have to do it in 2 stages, outputting from VS as mpeg2 ect
