Taking camcorders to Cuba ?

Anyone been to Cuba recently ? I just wondered if camcorders will stick out like a sore thumb ! Researching on the internet suggests not displaying any high value items, but hey most travel guides say this about everywhere !

Going to Havana and Veradero if this makes any difference ?

Over a million US citizens visit Cuba annually. According to my caluculations (I use a very complex algorithm based on experience of American tourists) that equates to about a million and one camcorders visiting Cuba annually.

I reckon they're used to it.
