Canon MD235 Mini DV - What extras do I need ?

Hi

I've pretty much decided on the Canon MD235 from dabs.com for £167.

Its for my parents and they only have a basic PC so I'll need to by a dvd-writer too so they can burn/archive the footage. Apart from some mini-DV media what else will I need to get the footage onto the PC ?

p.s. Are Dabs ok because I need the camera before Thursday ?

What do you need? A firewire cable. +maybe software on the PC, Basic or not
