AVCHD movie player

Hi All,

Bought a panny SD9 which is superb and gives me great footage. I can play the footage and edit it on my computer when i view files from my HCSD card, however, when i transfer files to computer nothing plays them - not even the free panasonic software (it needs to see the SD card or a dvd).

Anyone recommend a decent but cost effective software program to view AVCHD files?

I know i can view them on my PS3 and i know i can convert to MPEG2, but i just want to have a program that views the fiels i copy over.

Anyone help?

Cheers in advance,

Antony
