Easy video editing for Vista

Easy video editing for Vista
OK looking for a program which I can edit h264 video with, needs to be very quick at starting up as will be using it on a 1.2GHz C2D but should also allow me to crop and deinterlace video..

Do a search my friend

All the current titles can edit h.264 ..AFAIK, most can crop and de interlace in output ( if you select that option)
As for quick, thier hardware requirements differ
At any rate , having a mac as you do , why not just use imovie? instead of vist?

The mac is not portable...

Anyway I shall try TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress, as the previous version was pretty good, just had audio sync issues..
