Sony HDR SR10E - new owner

Hi all, recently picked up this camera from an authorised Sony dealer and along with the £50 cashback from Sony it's set me back £399 - not bad at all I thought.

Anyway, used it a few times and reasonably impressed, easy enough to use and the usual Sony build quality. Like others here, I wish Sony would sort out the low-light filming capability, it's mediocre at best.

Does anyone know of any sites/forums specific to Sony HD medium? I want to get the most out of it so suggestions on how best to use/burn/copy etc will help. Also pointers of suggested software etc will also help tremendously.

Thanks

The low light on the Sony HDR-SR11/12E is very good and also includes night shot mode however these cameras used a different sensor to the SR10E

Re: Sony HDR SR10E - new owner

Tell them you saw it on ebay for £449 and you know someone who paid that price 2 weeks ago. You then send your invoice to Sony with a cashback form from their website for a £50 cheque.

The Sony "cashback" offer closed at the end of August.
