Importing time/date information

Hi everyone,

I have a Sony DCR-DVD310 Handycam. Since I've had it I haven't found a single way of importing the time/date information along with the videos. Is there any software that can do it ? Is there any other way of doing it that doesn't involve me entering them manually ??

Thanks
