4:3 aspect keeps changing to 16:9?

I've captured some miniDV footage in 4:3 aspect in 'capture settings' in Pinnacle Studio Plus and then have edited and burnt a DVD, but i've noticed when i playback on the TV the footage will change to 16:9 widescreen after a few minutes of playback? anyone know why this happens? I would like the footage to be locked in 4:3 format. The footage i've captured looks far better in 4:3 and i will be sending it to several people who may not know how to change their TV back to 4:3 from 16:9 during playback? thanks

It sounds like your 'project' was set to 16:9 and now has put in a flag on the material to make the TV switch to widescreen....
