How do you enable Digital Zoom?

A quick easy question for you all. How can I enable the 180x Digital Zoom on my Sony HDR-SR10e?
I can't see the option anywhere and i'm pretty sure at the moment that when I zoom to the end of the bar it's just using the 15x Optical Zoom.

Thanks in advance,

Dazza

Edit:- Haha, just found it 15 seconds after posting this, if anyone else is interested it's the Home button, then the briefcase on bottom right, then Movie settings button, it's in there.

Re: How do you enable Digital Zoom?

Digital zoom is not reccomeded though as it works by cropping the picture obtained by optical Zoom.
Since this is possible in sofware it is often best not to have "cropped" lower quality footage in the first instance

Re: How do you enable Digital Zoom?

I agree with senu on this. I have always disabled digital zoom and never found a need to use it (even in post production). My old camcorder only has 10x zoom and even this is often too high and causes camera shake to be very noticable, especially on hand held shots. I would expect 180x digital zoom to look awful, even on a rock solid tripod.

Mark.
