| Member | transfering video from HDD camcorder to other sources help
i need help as to transfering data off a HDD camcorder to other sources. i am going abroad where 60GB of space may be insufficent and rather risk of not having enough space and for back up is to transfer them to another medium while im out there my original plan was to take laptop and ext hard drive and transfer them accordingly but i wanted to know if there was any other way which i could leave laptop at home and use like an ext HD and plug it stright into the camcorder and tranfer the files across? i dont want ability to view them on screen just transfer them across so i have room on camcorder i have looked at additional SD HC cards as well but i dont really want to go down this route due to cost and risk of losing cards |
