Which video format???

Hi all

i have been given a dvd to edit, it is not copyrighted or protected material.

I need to take the footage from the dvd, put it on my computer (imac) and edit the footage.

I have handbrake and premier pro cs3. Ive tried converting the files to mp4, avi and mkv and they all play fine when played from my desktop.... but when i try to import these into premier i am told that they use an unsorpoted compression method.

anyone know what im doign wrong??

thanks

Just take the vob files and rename them *.mpg rather than convert first
