Hi everyone I have a question

I want to buy a canon vixia HF10 in the USA when I visit - but am being told it is NTSC not PAL... I thought these were old standards and have no bearing on Hi-Def --- HELP! !!

Will I be able to use this camera here... I am mainly using a 46 inch LCD to view most of my things in... also surely if I record in Hi-Def it won't record in PAL or NTSC??

Possibly not
