Ok ive recently bought a new pc. i copied all my hd camcorder footage over and downloaded and payed for video studio 11.5 again as i only payed for the once only type.

now when i try to edit my footage it doesnt show some of the clips as 16:9 so when my vid conversion is done the aspect is 4:3.

It seems that my avi files created by using mp4cam2avi are fine. but my other type of files arent showing properly. I cant be more specific about the ones that arent working cos before i found mp4cam2avi i never settled for a specific conversion type.

can anyone help with only the limited info i can give?

im hoping its a codec prob which can be sorted by a download but im really stuck.
