Pinnacle DV Version 8.3

Recently purchased above package for my PC. Installed PCI card and firewire and package. It worked fine caputuring some footage and editing initially. I then went to work on the same footage the next day and one the title editor wouldnt work ie it wouldnt let me put in a title. 2 It wouldnt let me add music. 3 When I went to burn a VCD it just froze at the rendering process. I also got a pop error. kernel32.dll. I uninstalled and reinstalled and again it worked for awhile, What is wrong? Help please! I have a gateway pentium 4, 1.5Ghz 80GB hard drive and a panasonic NV - Gs1eg camcorder purchased 2nd hand from a mate.

Try the following...
disable anti-virus software.
Shut down all other programs.
Defrag. your hard drive.
Now try rendering etc.

Pinnacle ( and others probably ) are very hit and miss. I have had no problems with studio 8, but there are lots who do.
Try the website for the latest patch ( 8.5 I think ).

Hope this helps.

P.S. if problems remain try reinstalling it.
