Background Music.

Hi All, Does any know of a free dowload site for background music IE Acoustic Guitar, Piano, or sax something that would sound alright for travel videos or wild life videos etc.

Re: Background Music.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but www.playkpm.com is a huge libarary of production music used on TV.

Unfortunately, you have to work in TV to be able to get a log-in (rather than just someone who's making home videos etc) but if you fall under the correct profile for them, they might let you 'join'.

Sorry again if this is a waste of your time.

Re: Background Music.

I've been collecting music for soundtrack/background when doing my slide shows for years now .Most cannot be used for any commercial ventures . I have collected thousands from the acidplanet site [you have to join ] and ocasionally have found some that I can use royalty free.Others sources are from the foreign satellite channels ,some good instrumental music that are played over the telephone adverts .I capture them using a mini-disk recorder and convert them to mp3 on the Pc .The internet radio stations ,again are a good source . Using them for disks your going to sell is not advisable .Even the bought ones I have ie instrumental , saxaphone ,clarinet ,piano ,harmonica ,harp cannot be used if you going to sell them .
I agree ,it can be difficult getting royalty free tunes .
