Any there any good memory card camcorders sub £350....

....that record well in lower light conditions i.e. indoors instead of bright sunlight?

I am really wanting to get a memory card camcorder (because of the cheap cost of the cards) and i am not too bothered about the High Definition recording (as i currently don't have a HD telly and will probably upgrade the lot in a few years anyway).

I would really appreciate it anyone helpful soul on here could recommend something that fits the bill

Re: Any there any good memory card camcorders sub £350....

Good Low light recording is something all camcorders aspire to
None likes low light indoor recrding
Even the kit BBC or Sky use costing thousands of Pounds are almost always supplemented by additional lighting indoors and a lot of footage felt to be "substandard coming from those high end kit never gets broadcast
AFAIK, the Panasonics have the best representation in the SD card camcorders, Hi def or SD.Canon has a new one the FS100 (Im not too familiar with it as it is new)
What is fairly evident is that pocket friendly ( sub £300)+ S|D card + good in low light doesnt really exist
I suspect the models are broadly similar in performance and you might havre to give them more illumination indoors

Canon FS100 (FS10/FS11) is probably your best bet; decent all around performance, but the low light is nothing special (as Senu said, you won't find great low light performance in this budget).

Or Panasonic SD5 from Amazon £350); it is high def; not great in low light either, but overall better than the Canon FS series.
