Can I buy a decent camcorder for around £300?

Depends what you are looking for in a Camcorder. Quite a few to choose from as is the cost and quality. I have been on here a fair bit trying to research what i could get for my budget and only recently decided on a Panasonic SDR-H250 Camcorder which i bought for £210 brand new!! A really good price.

I am sure some of the experts on here will be along to help you more mate. I am a noob when it comes to Camcorders.

I used to have a MinDV one but it was a pain for me to search the tapes and transfer clips to the pc so wanted to get a Hard Drive camcorder instead.

Lets see what it is like when the Panasonic arrives next week.

I bought it from a reputable shop on Ebay. Comes with a 12mth warranty too. They had quite a few for sale and the last one went for £270 today!! I was lucky!!

Some of the guys on here recommended it. Yet to try it out though. Apparently, Panasonic has a good name on here.

Your best bet is to do a search on here and see what pops up mate. Some good threads already on here.
