Connecting TV via X1900XTX for Premiere Pro

I'd appreciate help for a complete dummy.

I'm running a Radeon X1900XTX card with dual TFT monitors and using Premier Pro. I need to connect up a TV monitor so I can check the colour rendition etc. on playback of my projects.

So far I have figured out how to run the TV instead of one of my screens. Ideally, I'd like to still run 2 x TFT's AND be able to have my TV replicate my 2nd TFT, thus allowing me to check what it will look like when played back.

If anyone can tell me, in simple terms, if it's possible and how to get this working, I'd be very grateful. Alternatively, if this can't be done, I'd appreciate suggestions on how else I could solve the problem. Is there a type of flat screen combining TV rendition with PC resolution that I could swap out one of my screens for?

Re: Connecting TV via X1900XTX for Premiere Pro

Im not sure if you can output as you wish but you can certainly connect up 2 TFTs and have a dual screen configuration ( I have one) simple extending the windows desktop to your secondary monitor
I also dont have Premiere Pro ( Anymore) so the advice is generic
The way you set up the second monitor is very dependent on your graphics cards driver software ( overlay settings)
An LCD which is also a TV is likely to have a TV monitor like colour rendition even if it doesn't exactly replicate a TV

Re: Connecting TV via X1900XTX for Premiere Pro

Thanks for your reply. I already have 2 TFTs running just fine and got the TV running instead of one. It's getting all 3 up that I want but have a feeling it is not possible. I have a feeling that you are right about an LCD TV being the way forward. The wide screen would also allow a nice long timeline.
