Question Panny SD5 or SD9?

Was planning on getting the SD5 but have just seen the SD9 for £58 more. Are the differences between the two worth paying the extra?

Thanks.

Re: Panny SD5 or SD9?

Oh, there was one more thing...

I read on a blog (I can link it if allowed) from a guy who had an SD5 that there was too much noise during recording with low external sound (sort of like what you might get on a tape or hdd cam). I watched one of his videos and indeed there is noise. He ended up returning it because it was too much for what he needed it for.

Someone on his blog suggested it was an internal fan which was too close to the mic input (don't know if this is tosh, but where else would it come from in a solid state machine?).

Do you know if this "problem" exists with the SD9?

Thanks.
