What kind of cheap camera do I need to stream HD video at 1024x768?

Greeting

Right now I have this camera http://www.productshub.com/JVC-GRSXM260U/ its about 4 years old and I lost the power cord along time ago so haven't used it in 3 1/2 years. If this is a good enough camera I can buy a power cord but is there any way to connect it to my PC? All it has is RCA cables. I have searched around a little and Best Buy sales TV Tuner Cards for 149.99 that have RCA inputs or maybe I can find a RCA to USB adapter for kinda cheep. The cheapest I have found so far are like $80.00
Buy the time I spend that much would I be better off just getting a new camera?

If so what kind do I need. At best I want to be able to stream HD video at 1024x768 but I will go down for price if that will cost to much. Are there any cameras that you guys could recommend me?

I was thinking this camera http://www.consumer.philips.com/cons...am+SPC900NC-27 but its only 1.3 megpix and It says the video res is VGA and I don't know what that means but I dont think its 1024x768.

I am going to be using the camera to stream video of a Tarantula so I needs to be able to work well in low light. I would like to have really good video quality but I don't want to spend a ton of money. I don't really have a price range though. I would like to stay under 150.00 but I am willing to spend up to 400.00 if I feel like it it worth it. The thing is I am only going to be using this to film a spider so I really don't want to spend alot.

Thanks so much for the advice.

VGA resolution refers to 640x480.

Your camcorder is analogue; the actual resolution will likely be less; but if you get a capture card it will most likely capture at 720x480 NTSC video format (I assume you are in the USA), or maybe 640x480.

A decent high def camcorder will cost you at least $400. I think you can get high def web cams, but I don't know much in that area.

Well if this webcam will make a video that is this size I think I am going to get it.

It seems good for what I want to do.
