SD5/9 New Battery "Piggy Back Device"??

Seen a device on Ebay which is supposed to add 1100mAH to your battery.
YOu clip the VW-VBG130/260 to this and then [somehow!] mount this to the camera.
Anyone used one and does it work/how does it fit to the camcorder?

seems a cost-effective solution.

With the cost of the adaptor at about the price of a VW130, and the VW260 not only about twice this cost but also needing the adaptor seems cheaper to buy multiple VW130s??

Re: SD5/9 New Battery "Piggy Back Device"??

Hi,
I looked at these to for my SD5 but I can't see how they would fit as the battery goes inside the camera. I also looked at the extra capacity battery from panasonic but this appeared to have a lead coming out of the camera with the bigger battery on that you carried round, I think.
I ended up buying two batteries the same as the one supplied with the camera. Got them off ebay from the states. Cost £48 each and arrived in a few days. Still expensive for batteries but way cheaper than panny do them for here.
Cheers, Rich
