Sony Handycams and PS3?

Sony Handycams and PS3?
Can they just plug directly in to the PS3 for playback? I am looking at either the TG3 or Sr11 and they both just mention HDMi into a TV. I want to be able to plug it into my PS3 for playback.

they can yes,it is the editing which is a lot faster in some ways but daunting in others that is stopping me from getting one for now.
