What is the difference between MEGA OIS and Advanced OIS - Panasonic

Panasonic use the terms MEGA OIS and Advanced OIS but I can't seem to find out which one is better. Does anyone know?

I am looking at the NV-GS330 and the HDC-HS9. Bit of a difference in price, I know, but at the end of the day I want the 3CCD/Leica/and best OIS.

Which one has it?

Also which one has the best film quality (don't care about photos or audio)?

Cheers
Frances

I'm not sure the difference between Mega (which is described as "advanced", and "Advanced". I think they do a similar job, though even with OIS, you'll notice shake more on the high def model.

The lenses are the same quality.

In good lighting conditions, and on a HD display, the HS9 video quality will be better. But the HS9 needs more light (smaller pixels for the HD resolution). The GS330 isn't super in low light either, but is better than the HS9 in this regard.

So, I will notice more shake with the HDC model, yes?

If I am not using the HD on the HD model (not sure if anything showing my film with have HD) and I would always be filming in good daylight (not indoors, ever), then the NV-GS330 model would do the job fine?

Thanks (sorry if I am being dim btw)

The HS9 only shoots in high def.
If you are OK with standard def, yes the GS330 will do fine. It's a very good SD camcorder.
