The HVR-A1P is the PAL model of the HVR-A1 available in Hong Kong, Australia, NZ..
Not sure what the P stands for (could be P for PAL). Anyway, functionally it is the same as the HVR-A1E. No issues of compatibility.

I need to know any feature differences that the HC1 has that the HC9 doesnt have. or any similar function but with lower quality. ie does the HC9 have a mic jack?

HC9 has a mic jack.
It doesn't have the focus ring. It has the CAM Control dial, but that's not as nice. I think that's the only major thing you lose from the HC1.

damn it! i was hoping there would be a few more obvious stuff not on it that i could say the HC1 has. like manual exposure, shutter speed etc. I know i'll sound like a woman, but i just dont like the look of the HC9. It just doesnt look as professional. looks more like a camcorder.
