Folks, need a bit of advice, should I buy a camcorder from a US website. Price here is £149 and in the US $150, almost half price.

Things to consider ... what are the prices when you factor in delivery costs? Also do you know whether you get an international warranty which may be an issue later?

You dont say which it is..
If it happens to be a tape model or indeed SD mpeg2 ( likely at this price) .. does it record PAL or NTSC?
You could be liable to excise duty which may negate the savings too ( in addition to the warrantee issue raised
I mean would you like to send it back to the US for reapirs or replacement if it became faulty with warrantee?

I was thinking along these lines which is why I asked for opinions, I guess then the saving may not be worth it in the long run.
