This is going for an amazing £109 in PC world , Curry's are doing it for £149.00.

Is anyone familer with this mini DV cam?

Both websites are showing the 824 and D826 (grey or pink versions) @ £149.99

The 728 is £109.87 as its end of line and quite different (opticla viewfinder, smaller zoom)

Yes your right I made a mistake it was the 728 that was the cheaper one.

I use to have the Gr D340 and I loved the picture quality during daylight though in low light it was fairly dismal.

I must say I was well impressed with the built in mic , it gave a nice full sound.

Just wondered if this cam was simailar.

The good thing about the D340 was the lens was slightly larger I think it was 1/4.
