finalCut footage on XP system prob

Hi I have a project to hand in for friday and some of my footage wont work.

I recorded footage and went into uni to take the footage off the miniDV tape. I captured the data with finalcut.

I have 4 files and this is there sizes in Gigs

2.091
2.097
2.097
1.367

I didnt encode them, I went into the cache folder and took the files from there. They had no extensions on them.

two of them work but the two biggest (2.097) wont play on my home system which runs xp64, intel quadcore.

I tested the files in uni on the macs and they all play fine. I tried opening with quicktime on my system and it says error -2048 "couldnt open because it is a file QT doesnt understand". The other two files open and work fine with VLC and premier 2.0.

Can anyone help

cheers

Re: finalCut footage on XP system prob

I tried converting these files with RAD video tools and that said that the file appears to be part of a sequence of files. I think the two files that arent working are perhaps the second parts to the files that are working. Is there any programs I can use that will re-merge them a final cut must do this as these files worked on macs
