Suggestions for good video merging app

I am looking at merging some videos I have made and converted from JVC Enverio. I have got them all converted in mpeg format ready to burn to disc using Nero, but rather then having loads of smaller files, I would rather merge/combine some, as they follow on (well sort of).

Can anyone suggest anything that would merge/combine mpegs well?

Re: Suggestions for good video merging app

Any video editing application which take mpeg files as input (including Nerovison) should be able. Most current software titles fall into that category

How well they do it vary but as you are merely merging rather than editing with effects, doing this should not result in any quality loss due to re-rendering

The HDD mpeg2 camcorders and HDV camcorders have spurred improvements in Mpeg editing and what you propose should be relatively easy
I would imagine the Everio camcorder came with Cyberlink software which should be able to do it easily
