Interesting product, says you can preview in real time as well as capture at the same time due to the component output, looking for something like this, so realtime video out. i.e buffer and capturing, but USB 2.0 has limited bandwidth must be a pretty good H264 Hardware encoder onboard, 1080i at 13Mb/s capture is a nice figure, as well as stereo spdif and RCA in, would be great for capturing off video game consoles...
Wonder what the price is, think it's aimed at the US market though, anyone going to import? http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/hd_pvr.html
Looks like it uses a chip similar to those used for the AVCHD capturing in HD Camcorders

Good find - looks ideal for sky HD! Lets hope its not too costly

Hauppauge UK should (hopefully) be selling it by the end of May.
If US prices translate straight across, it could cost £125 - which would make it the bargain of the century and perfect for transferring Sky HD to PC.

I order mine of hauppauge US, they post it from their base in Ireland so hopefully should get it soon!

I couldnt find any online reviews. Wonder if anyone has got their hands on it. Amazon.com is saying shipping in 2-3wks.
I am off to NY in 3 wks so would love to get more info.

According to Amazon.com its shipping 2 to 3 weeks
Im surprised they didnt offer you the US version.
