HF100 or SR11

Hi Guys,

I am close to purchasing my next camcorder before my children grow up too fast! I am still dithering between the HF100 or the Sony SR11. I wasn't at all interested in the Sony as until recently there were no decent reviews and also as it is a hard drive cam where I really was looking at the flash based ones!

However it seems most of the reviews really rate the SR11/12 and it seems to be coming out better than the HF10/100.

Has anyone seen and played with both Cams in the real world who can give an informed judgement. One thing for me though is that the HF100 seems far cheaper than the SR11, is the Sony worth an additional £200ish. I'm not worried about the added storage of the Sony just the cam/shooting quality of the cams themselves.

Cheers for any thoughts!

Cheers will have a read through. I doubt there are many that would buy 2, some people though have contacts so might be able to use 2 or can at least comment on the one they own.
