Unhappy Jerky playback to camcorder

When I try to record a video back to the camcorder through the firewire, the playback is extremely jerky.

I'm working with:
MS XP Home
Ulead Videostudio 6 / MS Movie Maker 2.0
Sony PC 8

1 Gb Ram
766 Mb Pagefile

I've tried:

Defragmentation, changing pagefile, different DV tapes, render as type 1 and type 2 DV Avi

Does anybody have an idea?
