help needed with samsung vpmx10

Hi all. I've recently bought the above camcorder and am having trouble moving files to my pc. (I have checked these forums but cant find any help) Wen trying to move the files to my pc for editing, I get the message "Cannot copy sdv_0001: The parameter is incorrect". The file type is shown as Windows Movie and will open and play with Nero Showtime.

Help me please

Hi I had the same problems with my MX10 It is certainly down to codecs as I have a whole load of them but still couldn't see the video only hear the audio, like yourself.

As long as you have the original program CD that came with the camcorder you just need to run it and install all the drivers. These include the codec that this AVI file needs. After I did that it all worked fine. Hope it works for you too!
