Canon MD205 - Any good

Hi All,

Still trying to decide on a mini DV camcorder sub 200 pounds, saw this one looks pretty good for 138 pounds.

Anybody got one/tried one?

Just can't decide on which one, its making my head hurt!

its cheap i dont expect you can expect too much for the money http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/7574...mctag=uk_16067probobly cheaper than your price some places.but cheapest is not always the best to go for.canon though.

Re: Canon MD205 - Any good

Hi all...I'm also interested in this camcorder. I have a Sony HC42E which has gone belly up on me..

I'm looking to replace with a similar spec'd one, but not Sony, and don't wanna spend too much as it's only used for holidays and special occasions.

Had a play with the MD205 in Jessops today, and feels comfortable, and the joystick on the screen works quite well. Not sure on pic quality as I couldn't record anything (no tape!)

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers for now,
Clive
