Canon Camcorder MD160, what are the lens options?

Hi guys, I was given a Canon MD 160 camcorder as gift from work and would like to find out if there are any lenses available for this model, I was interested in a wide angle lens. Or perhaps if you know of any US versions that would fit the MD160? Cheers

Right, being new to this I'm not too sure but just looking at the specs it says the filter is 800K pixels. Is that what you mean?

No its the screw filter thread size on the end of the lens , I couldn"t see it in the spec tho.
On my Sony its 37mm.

I don't believe it has a filter thread at all.

I think so, unless you get one which clips on. I know these exist, but not quite sure how you attach them.

Re: Canon Camcorder MD160, what are the lens options?

Canon MD160 has no thread for filters or other accessories, I was looking at one yesterday as I am looking for a replacement for my Canon MVX 150i (dead), for which I bought a wide angle lens some time ago. I don't know if there is another way to put a filter on the MD 160, but definitely not a threaded one.
