| Member | The SD series Battery situation
So, here we are, Panasonic are now up to the SD9, and we still have no alternate source of batteries. I really am not prepared to pay the farcical price for their own brand device, and have confirmed that these have the encoded chip inside that prevents batteries without the right code operating in the camera ( I modified a CGA-DU07 to fit, a fairly trivial task with a hacksaw, but it comes up with the 'This battery cannot be used in this camera' message.) So now I'm looking to an external 9volt pack to use with the power in jack. Does anyone know of suitable sources please? |
