Smile first buy; sony vs JVC new range

Anyone know how these cams perform against each other? Are they even out yet? Looking forward to purchasing one of these, as both seem of decent quality but i am worried about the jvcs ccd being 1/6. Might just go for a panny gs3 tho'.
