I'm looking for a cheap camcorder no more than about £170 but could be tempted to go second hand.
I don't really expect much for the money but i don't want to spend any more as i know it won't get used much.
Does anyone have any experience with this price range, recommendations would be good.

Canon MD101

You will not be dissapointed by this minidv camcorder...£140 if you look around.

I also like the MD101, only issue is some units seem to have a motor noise issue.

It is very simple to operate! I have made stills, and videos, uploading video to youtube within a minute. It's well worth the money.

I have a MD101 coming next week ,just hope its not too noisy ,i do understand that the mic gain goes up the quieter it gets, no chance with my kids .
