Help!! Is it poss to hook old camcorder to laptop to convert to dvd?

We have and old Canon UC100 (12 years old!) which we have now replaced but we wondered if we can get a cable to hook it up to aptop to put film on dvd?

Is there a cable?

You need more than a cable.
If the laptop is reasonable recent and has a USB cable, you need something like

Otherwise just use a settop DVD recorder .. much easier
