NV-MX8B can't install in XP Profesional

I've used my Panasonic NV-MX8b for ages on my Dell computer. Now it will not load. I understand that no drivers are needed with Windows XP as the device is Plug & Play. The only change I have recently made is to install a Belkin Router.
The error I get is "No Drivers Found"
