Jvc Gr-d740

I'm on the verge of buying this model as it's only about £120. Would any users here know the quality of this camcorder?

Thanks!

Re: Jvc Gr-d740

Good Luck.
I have an old JVC which was great in its heyday. Subsequent models were lacklustre and Ive been unable to recommend them since then
Jetinder has a 770 which is a 720 with DV in ( I believe) .
I think he swears by it in relation to its cost compared to similar branded models (Sony Canon ) of similar cost.
All I can say is that at £120 , you don't have much to lose by trying it out. it might surprise you how good it is.
Although I don't expect it to set the world alight at £120, given how technology has filtered from high spec to budget models it may well be VFM
Let us know how you get on with it

No worries, will do

Not looking for anything spectacular, just something that will let me record gigs/family moments/clips of random stuff.
