Yes , it was on show along with the other "big boys" at the recently concluded Broadcast and Video Forum 2008 at Earls court last week
It looked industrial and you wouldn't get past security at Heathrow with it without extra interrogation!
Although in a niche of its own and more likely to be hired by independent production companies ( rather than bought), It was in good company with high end offerings from Sony, Panasonic, Canon and JVC.
The class of Camcorders, HDD storage devices , Display monitors and Editing workstations from AVID, Adobe, Canopus amongst others as well as bespoke systems was mouthwatering
It was a huge world away from the very humble £150-200 camcorders which are enquired about on here. from time to time
..
But although at the cutting edge of technology, the benefit of kit like that is that eventually some of the innovations associated with its development trickle downwards and then make future "starter kit" even better VFM

I'll stick with the Genesis, though I'm going to wait till they release the one with the 70mm CCD

Panavision don't sell their cameras though. Only rental. Nor would you want to buy one at what they would charge...
