anyone know where the serial number on this model is.there are numbers on the box,instruction book,camcorder,numbers everywhere,but none say which is the serial no.

I have a NVGS200, have you looked behind the battery? on mine the serial No. is at the bottom

The serial number is on the rear panel and takes the form of a letter followed by a single number ...two letters and a further five numbers.

Example A7HW54321

The first number ie, 7 denotes the year of manufacture

thanks to you both,i had seen the number,but it gives no indication it is the serial no, thanks again
